Here is the shortlist for the best music venues in Ireland

It’s that time of the year again. IMRO, Ireland’s musician’s rights organisation, has today announced its shortlist for the Irish Music Venue of the year award 2019.

There’ll be a total of 9 awards given out at the awards ceremony in Club Twenty Two on February 11th. One for the Dublin, Rest of Leinster, Ulster, Munster, Connacht regions of the country. An award will also be presented for best music festival, best small festival and best tech crew.

Performances on the 11th will come from Soda Blonde, Alex Gough & ELM. An overall, publically voted, venue of the year is also going to be awarded on the night. Readers can head on over here to have their say.

Dublin

  • Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Dublin 2

Ulster
