Proof that ‘Yr Love’ was no brooding fluke, Manchester-based Holy Other’s ‘Touch’ takes a similar slow-building ambient approach to moving towards more upbeat electronic music over the course of its duration. The adding of layers from bass growls, to synth note stabs to hi-hats to extra beats and vocal samples is anything but subtle but the underlying spooky singing sample anchors the tune beautifully.
This will be released on Tri-Angle Records on 12″ EP called With U in June.
