Ireland has a vinyl pressing plant once again

It has been just over a year since Dublin Vinyl, Ireland’s previous only vinyl pressing plant closed down.

Now, a new vinyl pressing plant has opened in Clane, Co. Kildare.


As reported by The Journal, Anthem Vinyl is pressing records with two machines and 12 employees with plans to grow.

Anthem was started by Brian Kenny who was head of Operations at Dublin Vinyl. Chris Keena, previously involved in Dublin Vinyl is Anthem’s Commercial Manager.

Anthem currently offers:

  • Classic black vinyl
  • Bold coloured and splatter vinyl
  • Smart vinyl options, QR-code enhanced releases
  • Sustainable vinyl.
  • Sea shipping options from Europe to USA starting from 10 days
  • Fulfilment direct from our factory complete with chart reporting.

The plant’s first pressing was Declan O’Rourke’ Record Store Day edition of his album Since Kyabram.

The plant also offer in-factory visits to artists including a listening room and social media space to see their album being pressed, listen to early pressings and shoot social content.
