It Takes A Village Festival is happening in Trabolgan in mid-September, here’s the all-Irish lineup and info
Cork Festival It Takes A Village has announced a grand return to Trabolgan in East Cork next month from Friday September 17th to Sunday September 19th, with an extensive lineup.
The festival has taken place twice before and is set in a holiday village with self-catering accommodation, leisure facilities including a swimming pool, access to the private beach and the Bosca Beatha mobile sauna and here’s what the all-Irish lineup looks like:

The performances and events will take place all outdoors and all stages will adhere to capacity limitations in line with current restrictions.
Tickets
You can register for tickets up to 11am this morning on ittakesavillage.fm and tickets on sale to mailing list only at 12pm.
Tickets can be purchased in groups of 2 – 9.
The ticket price includes 3 nights accommodation in a self-catering house + weekend festival ticket + private parking. All tickets must be paid for upfront. Due to the short lead-in time of the festival this year there is no option for payment in instalments.
It Takes A Village is part funded by the Live Performance Support Scheme from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
COVID
- A Digital Covid Cert OR a Negative Antigen Test OR a Negative PCR Test will be required in order to attend the event and will be checked by staff on arrival at the gates.
- If a ticket holder does not have a Digital Covid Vaccine Certificate they will need to present a negative Antigen Test taken 48 hours of arrival or a negative PCR Test taken 72 hours of arrival. A person who fails to present evidence of one of the three options above will not be admitted to the site.
