The Dundalk rock five-piece Just Mustard have released ‘PollyAnna’ their first song since 2022.
It’s the band’s first song since the 2022 album Heart Under.
‘PollyAnna’ is out today on Partisan and is announced alongside shows in London, Paris, Berlin and New York for the shoegaze-adjacent band, whose next Irish date is Electric Picnic on August 30th.
The video for the song was directed by singer Katie Ball, and the track was part-inspired by a sense of “toxic happiness.”
The song leans in a gauzy throwback shoegaze direction.
Katie Ball
“’We shot the video using different CCTV and vhs cameras around our hometown Dundalk trying to have as much fun as possible, the kind of fun that makes you feel sick almost instantly which suits the themes of the song”.
