Kean Kavanagh announces debut album The County Star with new Peter McGann video for ‘A Cowboy Song’

The County Star is the debut album from Kean Kavanagh to be released on June 6th.
Kavanagh follows up recent song and video for ‘The Whistle’, with another video co-directed by Kojaque and Rob Bass for new song ‘A Cowboy Song’ starring comedian Peter McGann continuing the story of his sad Portlaoise Elvis kit bainisteoir, Pa Campion, who works for a small town GAA club.
The tune is a bit of a rocker too.
“There’s a really interesting phenomenon of small town Irish Elvis’s, it seemed to match the Irish connection to Americana that is peppered throughout Kean’s album. So for ‘A Cowboy Song’, we felt we needed to know more about Pa Campion, who is the man behind the Rhinestones?”
Director Kojaque.
Album release shows confirmed for June 18th at the Lexington, London and June 20th at Bello Bar, Dublin with more to be announced.
