The Belfast band continue to dominate despite establishment opposition.
Kneecap have announced a show at the 12,500 capacity Wembley Arena in London on Thursday September 18th this year.
Despite the impending court case on June 18th, where Mo Chara will be up in the court on a terror charge, the band’s popularity continues to grow.
Kneecap headlined Wide Awake Festival in London last month with the event serving as a coagulating event for the band’s recent activities.
The band were cancelled from the TRNSMT lineup in Glasgow due to safety concerns from the police according to the festival, despite having played the city numerous times previously.
Interestingly, a Police Scotland spokesperson told NME: “Any decision on the line-up at TRNSMT is for the organisers and there was no prior consultation with Police Scotland before acts were booked.”
“Officers have highlighted the potential reaction of such a large audience to this band would require a significant policing operation in order to support the delivery of a safe event.
“We have also passed on information from the public around safety concerns to allow organisers to make an informed decision on the running of the festival.”
Kneecap announced their own show at O2 Academy in Glasgow the same week as TRNSMT, which sold out in minutes.
Meanwhile, Glastonbury have confirmed band will not be cancelled from the festival and have put the band on a larger slot on the Saturday afternoon at West Holts Stage.
Tickets for Wembley Arena are on sale Friday.
