Classic Hiss recently put out Classic Hiss: Boreens & Backroads a compilation of covers and interpretations of songs by Pavement, Silver Jews, David Berman and Gary Young, reimagined by a cross-section of Irish musicians.
Volume 1 of the two-part project features 14 acts from across Ireland’s DIY and independent scenes.
Money raised from the compilation will go directly to Palestinian aid organisations and legal aid for activism.
