Liza Flume – ‘Sheets’
Liza Flume recent decamped from Dublin to her native Sydney for a while. While there she worked on a new EP that she says she’s really proud of. The EP, called Morning Light, will be out soon.
From it, ‘Sheets’ is a highlight, a sparsely-arranged track that uses handclap percussion and suspended chords to re-inforce the song’s subject of coming to terms with a lover now left.
You can catch Liza supporting Ciaran Lavery and Ryan Vail next Thursday in Smock Alley with Homebeat.
