Lumo Club turned 10 years old this October, a nice milestone to make in a tough time for Dublin clubs and spaces.
Lumo is myself, Gavin Elsted and Simon Roche and we always look forward to the Christmas doo, a festive edition which is often the busiest and wide-ranging in terms of tunes we play. If you’re asking Lumo generally play disco, edits, electronic, pop, Italo disco, ’80s jams, 90s/2000s dance, current bangers, curveballs and classics, and we have billed it as a house party-style club night in the best night spaces in Dublin that brings the soundest dancing crowd around.
You’re as likely to hear Abba as you are Avalon Emerson, Caribou as you are Phil Collins, Four Tet as you are Bryan Ferry.
So on the last Saturday before Christmas, December 20th join us for an early night boogie at Hen’s Teet from 8pm to 1am, promising:
Mistletoe disco, robot rock, electro-pop selection boxes, mulled pop classics, Italo Santas, 4/4 tinsel boogies and soulful merriment
Tickets €15 from Eventbrite.
