Massive Attack are staging a “large-scale climate action accelerator event” in Bristol this August.
The Act 1.5 event will mark the culmination of 25 years of climate activism on the part of the band, and a first physical fruition of their collaboration with climate scientists and analysts, with the aim of being the lowest carbon/greenhouse gas emissions show of its size ever staged.
The all-day Act 1.5 event takes place on 25th August 2024 outdoors at Clifton Downs and powered by Ecotricity x Grid Faeries.
Massive Attack will be joined by Killer MIke, Lankum, Sam Morton and producer Richard Russellnew project and a rare performance from the Wild Bunch’s DJ Milo.
Full details of the integrated climate action measures underpinning the show, and a direct invitation to all fans to contribute will be shared at the end of May.
