The alternative music five-piece collective Meltybrains? have announced their return with shows at Kilkenny Arts Festival and Dublin Fringe this August and September respectively
This-Topia is the title of this new work, part gig, part ritual, part performance art – “part theatre, part rave and part group therapy.”
The show is directed by Katie O’Halloran, choreographed and performed by Jessie Thompson, and featuring visual design by Ross Ryder.
This-Topia is part theatre, part rave and part group therapy – a meltdown in motion that asks what happens when identity unravels, and what’s waiting on the other side.
The show dates are
August 17th – Watergate Theatre, Kilkenny Arts Festival
September 20th / 21st at The Complex, Dublin Fringe Festival.
Tickets from €20 to €25 plus fees if included.
Meltybrains? released their debut album You in 2023.
