London-based Irish collectives Croí Na Gaeilge and Selecta Grove are teaming up for a London-based Palestine fundraiser this Friday.
A fundraiser at club night in Vittoria Wharf in Hackney Wick on Friday October 24th features sets from Galway DJ / producer Shampain, along with sets from sohotsospicy, Becky, Joe Murphy and Coinín Beag. Tickets from RA.
The two charities the event organisers are donating to are Palestinian Youth Movement and The Sameer Project.
There is also a raffle running concurrently on Crowdfunder with prizes donated from from Irish artists, designers, musicians, and artists. The prizes include:
- A Pellador jumper
- Signed Kojaque vinyl & Kean Kavanagh t-shirt
- Paddy Wok black card – free food for life
- ‘Free Palestine’ ring made by Stoned To Death
Croí Na Gaeilge is based around the promotion of Irish language and arts, aiming to bring together the Irish people who live abroad in celebration of our culture.
Selecta Grove is an Irish/Lebanese events collective.
