19 year-old 6ft 4″ Uzoechi Osisioma Emenik, MNEK, has been prolific of late as a co-songwriter and singer on tracks from some of the dance acts making a dent on the UK charts – from Rudimental to Little Mix to Gorgon City to Duke Dumont and A*M*E.
Well here’s the kid’s chance to shine on his own. ‘Every Little Word’ is fragrant funk pop with new jack swing and ’80s vocoder electro, a strident bed for MNEK’s soulful vocals and one that sets him apart from his discography to this point. Not sure who does the production yet?

Could have possibly produced it himself? I remember listening to tunes he made when he was 14 or 15 that he produced himself and they were similar in style to this, but obviously much less polished.
