New Albums
Childish Gambino – Bando Stone & The New World
Donald Glover’s new album accompanies his upcoming feature length film and features Khruangbin, Jorja Smith, Fousheé, Chloe and more. It’s his last Childish Gambino album under the name.
Glass Animals – I Love You So F***ing Much
Fourth album from the indie pop band, their first since 2020’s big hit Dreamland.
Denzel Curry – King of the Mischievous South Vol. 2
Collaborations album from the Florida rapper which features A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla $ign, and 2 Chainz.
Tongue Bundle – Second Hand Banger
Dublin experimental band’s retrospective of sorts is launched Saturday at Bello Bar. You could get some police chase jazz, ambient noodling, alt-psych pop or horrorcore funk. That’s the fun of Tongue Bundle.
Los Campesinos! – All Hell
The seventh studio album by Welsh indie rock band, and also their first album in seven years.
Lava La Rue – Starface
West London artist and member of NiNE8 Collective’s new album leans on alternative indie and psychedelic rock; and features Cuco, Audrey Nuna, tendai, and more.
chameleon – Call Me Twice Pt. 1 EP
8-track EP from the Dublin songwriter, singer and producer Matthew Harris. I featured the excellent James Blake falsetto of ‘I Never Knew You Well’ and ‘The Ransom’ from the record.
“This E.P. marks the first step towards a sound I’ve been searching for for years. I am, by nature, a perfectionist. My creativity rarely matches up to my taste. And so, when I occasionally find myself in a position where I am satisfied with something I have made, I’m certain I’ll cherish it forever. I adore Call Me Twice Pt. 1. It is bold, boisterous, often obnoxious, and it collects and exhibits the dirty and the ugly of who I am at my core. I hope people hear the city in this project. The noise, the chaos, the frustration. I hope they hear the longing to be somewhere else, someone else. This is the start of the story”.
