Her songs score the complexities and harmonies within this directive: organ, guitar, bass, synth, trombone, vibraphone, live and programmed drums, and a vocal assembly of men and women billed as The Choir, working intricate chord/tempo/and dynamic changes, as Laetitia’s empathic presence leads the way.”
MGMT – Loss of Life

Ghetts – On Purpose, With Purpose
Three years on from Conflict Of Interest, the UK rapper releases a followup featuring Sampha, Kano, Wretch 32, Skrapz, Unknown T, Lancey Foux, Pip Millett, Tiggs da Author and Moonchild Sanelly. ‘Daily Duppy.’
Hurray for the Riff Raff – The Past Is Still Alive
New Orleans-based Bronx singer-songwriter Alynda Segarra’s Americana-tinged rock band returns to Dublin’s Button Factory on May 10th. ‘Alibi’
Sandwell District – Where Next?
A compilation of singles from the Birmingham’s electronix collective’s history, featuring tunes by Function, Silent Servant, Regis and more, some of which have never previously been released. ‘Reykjavik’
Real Estate – Daniel
Gentle country indie rock band Real Estate’s sixth full-length album was recorded in an ebullient nine-day spree at RCA Studio A, in Nashville. ‘Victoria’
KAJA – MRNG TRX
7-track album from John Cowhie’s side-project of ambient, electronic and experimental styles. All profits to Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund.
The Last Sound – Veered
The Last Sound is the experimental project of Irish artist Barry M, one half of techno mercurial noiseniks Whirling Hall Of Knives. Veered started life in 2006, when the early collaborations that would lead to WHOK were just forming. Album features post-punk, alternative, dream pop, goth influences and more.
