Nailah Hunter – Lovegaze
Los Angeles-based harpist and composer Nailah Hunter has signed to to Fat Possum, and introduced the new album with the gorgeous alternative R&B pop song ‘Finding Mirrors’. Hear also ‘Bleed’.
Marika Hackman – Big Sigh
English singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalists follows up a Covers album and 2019’s Any Human Friend, with a fourth record in which she plays almost everything and produces almost everything. ‘Slime’
Kali Uchis – Orquídeas
Fourth studio album and second Spanish album by Colombian-American singer-songwriter Kali Uchis features Rauw Alejandro, Karol G and more.
Sleater-Kinney – Little Rope
Eleventh studio album from the alt-rock band 30+ years deep, recorded with producer John Congleton. ‘Say It Like You Mean It’
James J. Clarke – Hard Work
James J. Clarke is a Meath songwriter best known for his work with The Ambience Affair and Divan His debut solo record “is a deeply personal meditation on family, grief, and change,” which was written and recorded while living alone during the pandemic and dealing with the loss of a parent. ‘The Dark of Night’.
New EPs
Jehnova – IOU5
Nuxsense rapper drops an 8-track EP release on Bandcamp. IOU is a series of releases from the MC with Chapter 5 titled Culture & Freedom.
CABL – See You In a Year and a Half EP
The Dublin four-piece indie-rock band brought an ethereal atmosphere on their recent EP titled single ‘See You In A Year And A Half’, and a five-track EP is out today.
Winter Aid – Inner Sunset EP
Winter Aid is the project of former Irish music writer Shane Culloty who wrote on the now-defunct site The Torture Garden. A Winter Aid track released 10 years ago went on to receive 300 million streams since, so San Francisco-based Culloty has now released new music.
