Our Body&Soul Festival 2022 playlist

  • We look forward to Ballinlough with a playlist on Spotify and Youtube.

Making playlists is frankly, our bag here at Nialler9, and it’s a novel delight to once again be back looking forward to summertime by making playlists, especially for the music festivals we can’t wait much longer for.

Playlists are an opportunity to remind yourself of the lineup that you can nudge your pals with, and look forward to a weekend with, and discover the lineup in an easy way.

And that’s exactly what this Body&Soul Festival 2022 playlist is about.

We’re talking three days of Summer Solstice fun from 17th to 19th June at Ballinlough Castle Estate in Meath, with a capacity of 5,500 – a third of their maximum, a fresh outlook, and a greater emphasis on the experiences along with the lineup. More on that in due course here but as for the music…

This playlist has my personal selection of artists playing at this year’s refreshed Body&Soul Festival, from Yves Tumor to festival debutante and patron saint of B&S – Róisín Murphy. Presented in a melding genre fashion from the electronic tones of Kelly Lee Owens, Godford and Sofia Kourtesis to the soulful voices of Tomike, Caleb Kunle, Negro Impacto, Sweetlemondae and Shiv; the rock instruments of Mogwai, Pillow Queens, Overhead, The Albatross; Mhaol and The Altered Hours. There’s folk and contemporary from Lisa O’Neill, John Francis Flynn and Crash Ensemble along with rap from Sampha The Great, Celaviedmai, Fynch, Mango x Mathman and lots more.

We’re ready for a return to one of Ireland’s most considered festivals.
