In The Meadows has announced a series of shows in Dublin city leading up to the main event at The Royal Hospital, Kilmainham on June 7th.
Three emerging Irish acts: Skinner, Shark School and Madra Salach will play small shows in Thomas House and The Cobblestone on Thursday June 5th and Friday June 6th.
The new curated series features the following shows:
- Madra Salach @ The Cobblestone (June 5th)
- Skinner @ Thomas House (June 5th)
- Shark School @ Thomas House (June 6th)

Madra Salach – The Cobblestone – June 5 – Doors 8:00 PM
Madra Salach, one of Ireland’s most exciting new trad-folk bands, blends traditional instrumentation with contemporary writing and experimental textures. Rooted in session culture but reimagined for modern audiences, their music feels both timeless and thematically current. Drawing inspiration from Ireland’s growing experimental folk scene, their original songs could sit proudly alongside a thoughtfully curated collection of folk standards.
Skinner – The Thomas House – June 5 – Doors 8:00 PM
Skinner (aka Aaron Corcoran), Irish No-wave provocateur, made some noise with his widely praised ‘Geek Love’ EP and his debut album ‘New Wave Vaudeville’, which showcased the lively focus single “Sour Milk”. Channelling the anarchic energy of NYC’s No Wave scene with influences like James Chance and Liquid Liquid – a must-see for fans of dance-punk, post-punk, and DIY chaos.
Shark School – The Thomas House – June 6 – Doors 8:00 PM
Shark School are a female-fronted abstract garage band based in Galway City, described as a sonic assault with more bite than a Great White’s dentures! Beginning in June of 2023, they have quickly made a name for themselves playing all around Ireland and the UK. They are known for their energetic sets, sarcastic wit and party vibes. They have already sold out venues across Ireland; catch them now before the shark frenzy spreads further.
