Cork’s Pale Rivers grow from a whisper to a shout on ‘August 6th’

A year ago I met Pale Rivers during the Speed Sessions at Hard Working Class Heroes. A year to the week the Cork band have chosen to reveal their new single ‘August 6th’ is a song that grows from gentle waves of instrumentation to chugging guitar, from a whisper to a shout.

The neon-hued strobe-effect video is by Feel Good Lost. The song was produced by Gavin Glass. Indeed, you can catch the band live during Hard Working Class Heroes at The Workman’s Club at 7.50pm.

The song is on iTunes and added to the Nialler9 New Irish Music playlist.
