The Galway festival Fall Right Into Place has announced its return for its third year to Claregalway Castle just outside Galway city.

The festival run by Strange Brew has announced its first headliner as the Dublin indie-rock band Pillow Queens, for Saturday September 16th.

Taking place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September 2023, the Fall Right Into Place line-up is carefully curated to reflect the Strange Brew ethos, honed over 20 years promoting concerts and artists, and features friends, old and new.

Pillow Queens released their second album Leave the Light On through Canadian label Royal Mountain Records in 2022 and went on to tour the album throughout the UK, Europe and North America, including performances at SXSW in Austin and opening for Phoebe Bridgers in Glasgow.

Saturday night will see Pillow Queens headline with more to be announced over two stages, along with a craft beer bar by Galway Bay Brewery, a cocktail bar, wine and cheese bar, oyster stall and food from the Dela food truck and Weirdough Pizza.

Tickets are €36 + booking fee and go on sale this Friday 19th May at 10am from fallrightintoplace.ie.
