Rubyworks announce 10th anniversary shows with Fight Like Apes, The Minutes, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Wallis Bird & more
Celebrating 10 years in business as a label, something that indeed should be celebrated in theses transient times, Dublin label Rubyworks have announced three anniversary shows to take place in August.
Sunday 26th August:
Rodrigo y Gabriela (only Irish show this year), Ryan Sheridan, Wallis Bird and Josephine @ The Olympia Theatre (€25.90 plus fees)
Monday 27th August:
Fight Like Apes (only Irish gig this year), The Minutes, Funeral Suits and Deap Vally (LA) @ Whelan’s ( €17.50 plus fees)
The first 100 fans through the door at both the above gigs will get a free limited edition Rubyworks 10th birthday album sampler. Tickets for these shows are on sale this Friday 9am.
Tuesday 28th August:
Ruby Sessions special: Ruby Works artists @ Doyles (Simon Community charity donation, 9pm)

Started by Niall Muckian in 2002, Rubyworks, together with sister labels Model Citizen and Gotta Run, has released over thirty albums in both Ireland and internationally. The label has launched the careers of artists as diverse as Rodrigo y Gabriela, Fight Like Apes, Ryan Sheridan and The Original Rudeboys. London based ARK Recordings, home of Little Roy, Alberta Cross, Josephine and Deap Vally recently joined the Rubyworks family .
