Dead Calm is one of the many side projects of Donegal slowcore artist Liam McCay aka Sign Crushes Motorist.

Dead Calm is a band fronted by Liam McCay and is one of the more popular aliases of the artist with 1.6 million listeners monthly on Spotify for example.

The Irish tour is alongside UK tour dates – see poster below – the Irish ones are:

  • Tues, 22 September ‘26 – Ulster Sports Club, Belfast
  • Weds, 23 September ‘26 – Róisín Dubh, Galway
  • Thurs, 24 September ‘26 – Sandinos, Derry
  • Fri, 25 September ‘26 – Whelan’s, Dublin

Tickets priced €25 plus fees are on sale Friday February 13th at 10am available from singularartists.ie and Ticketmaster.

The video for ‘Bleed’ plays like a rap video but sounds like a sad boi bedroom track of the ilk of the Dead Calm project.
