One of the final chances to see this show – Sigur Rós are coming to Ireland in September for the closing leg of their world tour, performing alongside the Ulster Orchestra with conductor Robert Ames.

The dates:
Waterfront Hall, Belfast on Friday September 4th, and Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Dublin on Sunday 6th and Monday 7th September 2026.

Tickets on sale Friday 20 March at 10am via Ticketmaster.ie.

The tour has been running since 2023 and sees the band – reunited with keyboardist Kjartan Sveinsson since 2022 – performing alongside full orchestras in major concert halls worldwide, having already played the Royal Albert Hall, Rome’s Sala Santa Cecilia and Vienna’s Konzerthaus among others. The setlists draw on ÁTTA, their first album of new material in nearly a decade, alongside the wider catalogue.

These Irish dates are among the last on the tour, making them the final opportunity to see this particular configuration of the show.

Last September the band released a special 20th anniversary edition of their acclaimed album Takk… – their major label debut and a commercial breakthrough for a band that has never sought the mainstream.
