Smoothboi Ezra writes songs from an autistic gender non-binary perspective; hear ‘Stuck’ from new EP

The 19-year-old Greystones-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Smoothboi Ezra has announced a new EP on June 11th with a new song out today called ‘Stuck’.

Smoothboi Ezra’s EP is a look at the intricacies of relationships from their autistic gender non-binary perspective.

“‘Stuck’ is a song about being in a relationship with someone you care a lot about but you know it’s not going to work out. It’s an unsaid mutual agreement that you can feel the relationship ending but you’re both waiting on the other person to end it.”

The EP was written during lockdown with a backdrop of music from Angel Olsen, Soccer Mommy and Haley Heynderickx.

The single is accompanied by music video starring non-binary couple El and Lauren.

The ‘Stuck’ EP will be released on 11th June.
