Squid for Belfast & Dublin shows this October
From from their set at Beyond The Pale this past weekend, English wiry post-punk band Squid have been announced for two shows in Dublin and Belfast.
Squid will play Mandela Hall, Belfast on Tuesday 24th October and Vicar Street, Dublin on Wednesday 25th October.
Tickets €20 plus fee Friday 23rd June, 9am from ticketmaster.ie and singularartists.ie
Squid just released their second album O Monolith on Warp Records last week.
With Dan Carey on the boards of both albums, Squid’s music has a restlessness that more often now, gives way to exploration of their form. Whereas before there was a pent-up energy, Squid now often allow for the space for more breathing room, allowing a more expansive unmoored version of the band to emerge.
