Stream Wavves’ King of the Beach

wavves I’m very impressed with Wavves‘ new album King of the Beach – a much more focused, cleaner and varied effort brimming with sunshine anthems.

It would have been easy for Nathan Williams to slide into oblivion after the infamous breakdown, band breakup and whatever personal problems he endured but King of the Beach sees him back in better form than ever. From Nathan himself:

When you’re not watering it down with a load of shit and reverb, it’s a lot harder to make a record, because you know every part is going to be heard perfectly. You can’t half-ass anything … A lot more effort went into this than with previous records.

It sure sounds like it.
