Salad Days: A Decade of Punk in Washington DC (1980-1990) @ The Sugar Club
Film screening examines the early DIY punk scene in DC. It was a decade when seminal bands like Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Government Issue, Scream, Void, Faith, Rites of Spring, Marginal Man, Fugazi and more. The tenth anniversary screening of the documentary will also feature a Q&A (over Zoom) with the director Scott Crawford. Tickets from €12.

Glasgow and Paris based Polish composer and audio-visual artist Ela Orleans performs Night Voyager.  Set to soaring music featuring live synthesiser, theremin, vocals and violinit features NASA archive footage of the 1969 Apollo moon mission, matching the astronauts’ emotional journey with fragments of Night Thoughts a collection of extended poetic mediations written by Edward Young in 1742.
