The band have formally changed their name to TRM, and will release Grushy, their eighth album on September 6th on Ten Spot Records.
A new song ‘Off The Hook’ is out now.
The work is being released by Ten Spot Records (Dublin, Ireland) in collaboration with Strange Daisy Records (USA) on audiophile quality Hand Numbered 10” Vinyl Limited to 500 copies, cassette & digital. Pre-Orders at tenspotrecords.com.
We previously heard the song ‘Hidden Hands’.
After three members of the band left, TRM took stock and decided to continue with the three founding members – Matthew Bolger, Niall Byrne and Richard Egan – still desiring to make music together.
After some writing sessions in Dublin and Malmo, the seven songs on Grushy came out, and expands on the band’s core interweaving melodic guitar instrumentals with “structural experiments, textural detours and rhythmic tricks.”
