Trophy Boyfriend - 'Distant Chimes'

I first featured Gregor Ruigrok aka Trophy Boyfriend back in October’s MAP but since then he hasn’t been working hard on his craft to the point where his music has gone into a more electro, dare I say it, chillwave-esque vein.

Taken from the Bandcamp-enabled free download EP Distant Chimes, the title track has a hazy electro with big synths and thumping drums. The EP was produced by M!SK (of Splitloop). So is this Ireland’s first chillwave tune? Carles to comments please!
