The new album drops tomorrow.
LCD Soundsystem might be putting out their first record since 2010 tomorrow with American Dream but that hasn’t stopped them sharing another track not on the tracklist for the new album. ‘pulse v.1’ is an instrumental 13 minute jam that must have come out of those sessions. The band’s three Dublin shows are sold out.

Finbar 247 painted 500 stills for the video.
A new video for a highlight from David Kitt’s New Jackson album, which is one of my albums of 2017 so far. The video features 500 paintings by Galway artist Finbar 247 which were then animated by art art director Brett O’Mahony to match the track. Needless to say, it was a lengthy process.
