12 Points Festival is a nomadic festival that alternates between Dublin and another European city (last year was Umeå, Sweden) that puts on a lineup of jazz, experimental and contemporary-related musicians. It’s run by Improvised Music Company.
Alarmist and OKO are two band who have played the festival in previous years. 12 Points is now searching for n Irish act to join 11 other acts from 12 different European countries next year.

Niall Byrne is the founder of the most-influential Irish music site Nialler9, where he has been writing about music since 2005.
