WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 14TH

Zolala Klub #17 @ Siopa Gan Ainm (7pm, free)
Cork’s home of the eclectic and eccentric returns, and in audio performances this month, Cork-based cellist Eimear Reidy performs live.

Rave for Refugees @ An Spailpín Fánach (8pm, €7)
Techno, house and electronica, for a worthwhile way to continue your RAG Week odyssey. Vica Versa, All Angles and XCIV at the ones and twos, proceeds to UNHCR and STAR.

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 15TH

Agathe Max @ The Roundy (8pm, €7)
Cork date from Lyon-based solo violinist, electronic improviser and activist. Support from Natalya Beylis and local trio Antakya Remains.

Mother’s Cake @ Crane Lane Theatre (8pm, €10)
Psychedelia/prog from Austria, here on their first Irish headline tour after touring the continent with the likes of Wolfmother, Deftones and Iggy Pop, as well as Ireland in support of Anathema and Pentagram. Deep Sky Objects in support.

Future – Valentine’s Special @ The Poor Relation (8pm, €TBA)
UCC’s LGBT* and Feminist Socs present their now-regular queer/femme night at the Poor Relation, providing a cosy and accepting way to wind down the college’s RAG proceedings.

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 16TH

The Underscore Orkestra Trio @ The Brú (9.30pm, free)
US klezmer/gypsy/folk trio continue their latest Leeside excursion with a gig at the MacCurtain Street venue/hostel.

Revelation Sound System @ Cyprus Avenue (10pm, €10)
Strictly dub inna de pub, with a double-dose of sound-system culture: Revelation Sound System bring the rig upstairs to Cyprus Avenue, with Dublanders Rub-a-Dub Hi-fi in support.

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 17TH

Leño & Palmera @ The Kino (2pm, €tba)
Some live (all-ages!) vaporwave and retro-futurist aesthetic for your Saturday morning at the alcohol-free venue on Washington St.

Bastardo Electrico @ Cyprus Avenue (11pm, €7)
Cork techno veteran Jamie Behan and residents take charge upstairs in Cyprus Avenue, with guests to be announced.

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 18TH

The Outsiders’ Summit @ SUAS (7pm, free)
A free networking/collaboration event for musicians and creatives put on by the Outsiders collective of rappers and design professionals – speakers include Stevie G, Senita Appiakorang, Tadhg Crowley and your writer.

The Poor Decisions and Rough Sunday @ The Roundy (8.30pm, €5)
Some of Cork’s best folk/pop/observational comedy lads are away on tour to Argentina for the next while, but before they do, they’re giving Cork audiences one last chance to heckle them upstairs in the Roundy.

Jim Rooney, Arty McGlynn, and Mick Daly @ Coughlan’s (9pm, €10)
Three legends of Americana in Ireland, including Grammy-winner Jim Rooney, session veteran Arty McGlynn and Lee Valley String Band legend Mick Daly. Support from multi-instrumentalist Nollaig Casey.
