FRIDAY AUGUST 18TH:

This is How We Fly @ Sirius Arts Centre, Cóbh (7.45, €15)
A coming together of members of bands like The Gloaming, The Chieftains, Darol Anger and Gjallarhorn, as well as experiences with interdisciplinary work in theatre, dance and contemporary music.

Major Grave @ The Poor Relation (9pm, €7)
From Dublin’s first Boiler Room event, to 12”s released on Big Dada among others, Major Grave has earned his position as a force to be reckoned with in the instrumental grime and bass scene.

Dónal Dineen @ Connolly’s of Leap (9pm, free)
One of Ireland’s legendary DJs and multimedia figures goes back under the hammers for another excursion, bringing with him some of his extensive record collection.

SATURDAY AUGUST 19TH:

#CorkLovesMusic @ YMCA Groundfloor (2.45pm, free)
The first all-ages edition of the talk/performance series. Spekulativ Fiktion (rapper), Eilis Dillon (Records & Relics) and Jamie Coughlan (Overblown.co.uk) speak on their formative musical experiences, while young proggers God Alone launch their debut EP, and Outsider Rapha & Sewing Club make appearances. Strictly no drugs or alcohol.

Garden Day @ The Friary (6pm, free)
A big day out for members of the local Garden Collective of musicians and artists. Includes music from Damsel and Eve Clague, spoken-word performances, DJs and more.

Vinyl Below @ The Sextant (9pm, €5)
UK record-slinger Greg C joins the regulars for the last Vinyl Below party of the summer, at the quayside venue and beer-garden.

SUNDAY AUGUST 20TH:

Correspondent @ The Roundy (9pm, pay-what-you-want)
A triple bill of ambience and drone with new improv outfit Correspondent, sound-art pioneers The Quiet Club, and a solo set from beatsy sadgirl Gadget & the Cloud.

Junior Brother & Actor Actor @ An Spailpín Fánach (9pm, €5)
A double-dose of folk/singer-songwriter antics with Kerryman Junior Brother and Corkonian Actor Actor.
