Silence / Sound is a collaboration between film-maker Pat Collins and sound designer Tadhg O’Sullivan that presents a unique sonic version of Collins’s recent debut feature film Silence. - Arkeye scores Metropolis @ Court House, Bray
Electronic artist Alan Williams aka Arkeye performs a score to the classic film Metropolis. - Donal Lunny and Band @ Ranelagh Arts Centre (€)

Traditional Irish music and jazz - The Hot House Flowers @ Wind Mill Lane Studios
will play in Studio 1 on Culture Night and the engineers will be available to answer questions on the recording process and the diverse range of artists who passed through its doors.

Niall is a DJ, founder of Lumo Club, club promoter, event curator and producer of gigs, listening parties & events in Dublin.
Also Pipeworks organ recital in the National Concert Hall at 6.10pm. Mark Duley will play Mendelssohn, Sweelinck and Liszt. Great opportunity to hear the organ in the NCH!
Agus Eoin Glacken ag seinm ins An Siopa Leabhar at 8.30 – 9.30pm, Seisiún sa Siopa are running a live music session with Eoin Glackin at 6 Harcourt Street too!
As inspired by your good self. Not loads happening on the alternative music front but Ten Past Seven’s official Black Box launch will be incredible (they just always are) and the Half Moon have cooked up a good night too that should turn into a late one.

There’ll be free piano and singing lessons and ukulele demonstrations from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Merrion School of Music on Merrion Square. Then from 8:00pm onward there’ll be live music from The Chatham Saxophone Quartet and others. You’ll also have a chance to win a term of free music lessons!! Worth a look!
