Madra Salach have announced an eight-date Irish headline tour for December 2026, taking in Dublin’s Vicar Street, Belfast’s Mandela Hall, Cork’s Cyprus Avenue and more.
The Dublin six-piece have had a remarkable twelve months. Their debut EP It’s a Hell of an Age reached number 3 on the Irish Albums Chart in January 2026, a sold-out UK headline tour followed in March, and they recorded a BBC 6 Music Maida Vale Session along the way.
They’re also confirmed for a string of major European festivals this summer – Electric Picnic, Primavera, Roskilde, Green Man, Latitude, Beyond The Pale and End of the Road – and will support Kneecap at their Crystal Palace show in June. Add to that their contribution to The Songs of Shane MacGowan tribute album, alongside Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, Primal Scream, Lisa O’Neill and Johnny Depp, and it’s a band that has moved very fast indeed from their first single in September 2025.
We’ve been covering them since the beginning on Nialler9 – they are one of the Irish bands of the moment, and a December Irish tour headlining Vicar Street is indicative of the excitement around them since they debuted.
