The pair met at Bard College in LA, where they’re currently studying, and operate as a strictly fifty-fifty collaborative project, pairing collage-like, IDM-indebted production with songwriting that leans into sentimentality and specificity.
Debut single ‘Nerves’ is approaching 1 million listens on Spotify in its first year alone., and 2025 debut album The Most Dear and The Future made them one of the first acts signed to A24 Music, the film studio’s record label.
Second album Rumspringa followed in May 2026, and became something of a breakout moment. Named after the Amish tradition of letting young people step outside their community before choosing whether to return.

It’s been described as hushed and fragmentary, built from field recordings and half-finished thoughts, a dreamy, tactile record more interested in atmosphere and threshold moments than narrative, pairing folk intimacy with electronic catharsis.
