The synth-driven new single from the Irish queer indie-pop trio arrived last week, with a video about a looping tale of vampire love.
BFrank released ‘Jennifer’ on October 8th, a slow-paced synth pop song. The video tells a story of vampire seduction and love that gets stuck on a loop. The song is about a mythical woman nobody can resist.
“‘’Jennifer’ is a story about a mythical woman, no one can resist her, people dream about her when they have never met. Our songs are about many different women, some real and some fictional, which one of those describes Jennifer, we will never tell.”
Who are BFrank?
BFrank are a trio made up of Susie Blue, Audrey Blue (previously Audrey Gillespie) and Daniel. Susie and Audrey have married for 10 years, and they recruited Daniel to complete the band.
Susie Blue has a solo career behind her, and she featured on our roundup of new Irish songs in 2021.

BFrank is Audrey’s first music project. She is an artist, photographer and videographer, a trained ballet dancer who now does burlesque, and that background feeds into the live show. Daniel has a background in music production and in working on cabaret shows.
Their music draws on mental health, politics and LGBTQIA+ rights, alongside burlesque and women-led performance. They launched the single with their first headline show at Oh Yeah Music Centre in Belfast on October 9th, a night promised to mix live music with theatre, dance, burlesque and fire. which looked like this:
