CMAT has played an NPR Tiny Desk Concert, performing four songs with a seven-piece band.
The set list is ‘Take a Sexy Picture of Me’, ‘When a Good Man Cries’, the OG ‘I Wanna Be a Cowboy, Baby!’ and closes with ‘Lord, Let That Tesla Crash’, a song she doesn’t usually play live. It was written in memory of Jo Rose, a Manchester musician who died in 2024.
It’s the latest TV and online performance of a big year for the Dublin artist. Euro-Country won the Choice Music Prize in March, she took Best Album at the Ivor Novello Awards in May, and she performed ‘When a Good Man Cries’ on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert in February. In August she put out the EURO-COUNTRY (Live at St Anne’s) vinyl release.
