A sweet whistle-hook bright indie jam from the Boston band The Derevolutions. The band are Brett Boucher + Ana Karina and they appear to like making catchy happy music as you can hear in further evidence with the track ‘Automate Your Soul’ which sounds like The Go! Team doing something a bit more lo-fi.
‘Now You Know My Name’ is the one that got me hooked with its surf guitar, whistle melodies and generally tropical mood. It’s no surprise that Boucher has a background in music jingles for advertisements.
