A new series of jazz vinyl playback events in Dublin is kicking off with Miles Davis

Following on from the success of Vinyl & Wine’s regular vinyl listening gatherings, a new monthly event, brought to you by Improvised Music Company (IMC), is exploring the story of jazz through vinyl playback gatherings of the most iconic artists of the genre.

The night aims to spark discussion and storytelling on jazz artists and their records. It will be moderated by Irish Times music critic Cormac Larkin with a panel of jazz aficionados.

The first instalment of the series WAX ON #1, taking place on Wednesday November 15th, will explore the work of Mr Miles Davis.


Tickets are €8 and available at Eventbrite.

€10 tickets will also be available on the door.
