The Irish math-rock trio have teased their return almost 10 years after their last shows in Whelan’s.
On Instagram today, the band said “This is the return of a band called Adebisi Shank” and promised new songs and gigs.
Since calling time on the band, Lar Kaye made music with All Tvvins, The Coronas and some solo work. Vinny McCreith has worked on music and sound design as VMC Sound, and Mick Roe has been a big part of Faction Records over the last ten years.
Probably a good time to revisit my piece from the week they split up – Goodbye Adebisi Shank (-_-) : my ten favourite songs.
