Austra were so brilliant at SXSW I went to see them twice. The Toronto-based band led by Katie Stelmanis are a hugely impressive live six-piece act. Their album Feel It Break is out on May 13rd on Domino. The band play Crawdaddy, Dublin on Saturday July 2nd. Tickets are €14 plus fees on sale this Friday. The above video is the band performing a gig inside a cave built at the Toronto Standard offices. Watch out for those hand movements.

Deadly – have you heard much from it?
Haven’t got it yet. I guess I’ve heard most of the tracks by now.
The makings of a great album or a good one with some belters?
At least a very good album. The live show is a different thing altogether.
