Some recent gig announcements from the Irish live circuit

Ispíní na hÉireann play the National Concert Hall Main Auditorium on Thursday September 24th as part of the NCH’s Tradition Now series. For this National Concert Hall performance, the trio will be joined by a number of special guests for an evening featuring new arrangements, original material alongside favourites from their acclaimed debut Hard Working Men. Tickets €15-€29.50 via nch.ie.

Disco Dána returns to Hen’s Teeth on Saturday October 31st. From an invite-only gathering to a cult favourite since its Fidelity residency: expect house and disco alongside indie, post-punk, Italo and soul – what Cian O’Ciobhain describes as “a loose house-party vibe in a club.” Tickets via Eventbrite.

New Jackson (David Kitt) brings the machines to Fidelity Studio on Saturday November 7th for a hybrid live and DJ set celebrating the release of his new album Live Ones. Doors 10pm, New Jackson plays start to finish. newjacksonfidelity.eventbrite.ie.

Dorian Concept plays a live set at Racket Space, Dublin on Saturday November 14th, doors 7pm, presented by Bodytonic. The Vienna-born pianist and producer Oliver Thomas Johnson has spent a decade building one of the most idiosyncratic bodies of work in contemporary electronic music, and a live show at this scale in Dublin is a rare opportunity. Tickets via Eventbrite.

Lisa O’Neill plays Vicar Street on Monday December 21st with special guest Seamas Hyland, presented by Foggy Notions. One of the finest songwriters in Ireland right now, and Vicar Street at Christmas is exactly the right room for it. Tickets on sale now via foggynotions.ie.

Young Hearts Run Free mark their 19th annual Yule on Saturday December 19th – the nineteenth on the nineteenth, as the YHRF newsletter notes with appropriate alarm. Nineteen years of this genuinely warmhearted Dublin institution, all in aid of the Simon Community. Early Birds.

Isaiah Rashad plays The Academy, Dublin on Sunday January 10th 2027, on the second leg of his ‘Lil Sunny’s Awful Road Trip’ world tour. The TDE rapper’s long-gestating albums and rare live appearances have made him a cult figure – this is a significant Dublin show. Doors 7pm, 18+. Tickets on sale Friday September 12th at 10am via mcd.ie.

Los Bitchos + Friends play Opium, Dublin on Sunday February 1st 2027 with special guest Sinkane (solo). The London-based four-piece are one of the most fun live bands going – instrumental cumbia, surf-rock and Turkish psychedelia, no vocalist, all groove – and the Sinkane solo show is a genuine addition. Tickets from €23 including booking fees, on sale Friday September 11th at 10am via singularartists.ie.

My New Band Believe play Button Factory, Dublin on Saturday March 13th 2027, presented by Foggy Notions. The band formed in 2025 by former Black Midi bassist and vocalist Cameron Picton. Tickets on sale now via foggynotions.ie.

Deacon Blue bring their ‘Raintown – The 40th Anniversary UK & Ireland Tour’ to The O2 Belfast on Tuesday October 6th 2027 and 3Arena Dublin on Wednesday October 7th 2027. Ricky Ross and Lorraine McIntosh fronting the band through the full Raintown album – Scotland’s great forgotten pop album of 1987, finally getting its due. Tickets on sale this Friday September 18th at 10am via Ticketmaster and singularartists.ie.
