For the last four or five months, I’ve been listening to some great music, but in terms of live performance, Kraftwerk’s Minimum Maximum is the best live album i’ve ever heard (although it may not actually be live).
The enormity and intensity of the sound is something you would expect from a band consistently hailed in the music press and media as the ‘electronic godfathers’. While this maybe be true, it is also a fucking cool album to get lost in, and after experiencing them live myself at Electric Picnic, i can attest to that.
Kraftwerk are releasing a 2-disc live DVD of Minimum Maximum on the 5th of December in case you’re interested.
