Blood Orange is hosting an album listening party in Dublin’s Fidelity next week

Dev Hynes will be in Dublin city at next Monday evening at an album playback for his first record in six years.

Essex Honey is released on August 29th via RCA, and Dev will be in Fidelity on Monday August 25th at an album listening party.

Tickets are free for the event and available tomorrow, Wednesday August 20th at 10am from Eventbrite.


Essex Honey was written, produced, and recorded by Hynes and is said to be is a soundtrack created from a dreamscape of his journey working through grief.  It is also an album about growing up in Essex (outside London) and the way music has inspired, healed, and interwoven itself through Hynes’ life. 

It features collaborations with Lorde, Caroline Polachek, Daniel Cesar, Mustafa, Turnstile’s Brendan Yates, Tariq Al-Sabir, author Zadie Smith – singing on an album for the first time – Ian Isiah, Tirzah, Eva Tolkin, The Durutti Column, Wet’s Kelly Zutrauactors Naomi Scott and Amandala Stenberg, and Liam Benzvi

Two songs ‘Mind Loaded’ ft. Caroline Polachek, Lorde, Mustafa and ‘Somewhere In Between’, were previously shared.
