Cork gains new festival in inaugural Quiet Lights this September

Quiet Lights is a new small scale music festival in Co. Cork which will run from Friday 7th – Sunday 9th September.

The festival aims to shine a light on the new wave of Irish folk and traditional talent that are forging new paths such as Dowry and Saint Caoilian while also appraising more established acts such as Katie Kim and Lisa O’Neill.

Quiet Lights will operate similarly to Other Voices or Hard Working Class Heroes in that gigs will be held across the city in local pubs and venues including Coughlan’s Live, Sirius Arts Centre Cobh, The Roundy, St. Peter’s and The Chapel at Griffith College on Wellington Road.
