Culture Night Dublin music programme announced

Culture Night takes place on Friday September 19th, and offers a free programme of cultural events across music, dance, galleries, exhibitions, museums, painting and art.

In terms of music this year, here are some overview highlights:


  • Culture Night ambassador Farah Elle, GrooveLine @ Wood Quay Amphitheatre
  •  ZeztraCalum AgnewLisa Murray and Earthmover @ Meeting House Square
  • City Sounds: DJs Shrem and DJ Paddy Fabulous @ Central Plaza
  • Echo Exchange: EMA, Puzzy Wrangler, RHYTHMICK b2b RíanCapel Street 
  •  Kynsy, Poser, DJ Nialler9 & more @  Bolands Mills – an adults only fully licensed event, across two-stages.
  • The Italian Institute of Culture hosts a How Italo Disco Made Us Dance workshop. 
  • Alliance Française Dublin  present an evening filled with French music at their new Madeleine Café, featuring a performance by the French duo La Sérénade du Pavé and DJ Chach Des Wé
  • The Irish Traditional Music Archive will host a series of recitals by some of the country’s top traditional musicians
  • The Dublin Unitarian Church will host the Classical Musicians Network.
  •  Fr. Collins Park will play host to Opera in the Open, an outdoor concert gala.
  • The Chester Beatty will feature an evening with emerging singer-songwriter Theo Fitzgibbon
  • Block. at Liberty Lane is promising electronic music well into the early hours. 

Culture Night Dublin’s late-night music trail Nocturnal Beats will return this Culture Night, following its debut last year. The multi-venue music event is supported by Dublin City Council’s Night-Time Advisor, Ray O’Donoghue, and will see numerous Dublin clubs open their dance floors for free on the night, with participating venues to be revealed in the coming weeks.
