We Cut Corners are one of five Irish bands hitting NYC for CMJ and to coincide with that fact and an upcoming Irish tour, the duo, John and Conall have released their new single ‘YKK’, a short, sharp song that moves the story forward from the band’s debut Today I Realised I Could Go Home Backwards.
The single is out on November 25th on Delphi but it’s up on iTunes now. It’ll also feature on the band’s second album in 2014, a release which has been mixed by producer Ben Hillier who most recently worked on PVT’s Homosapien, Villagers’ Becoming A Jackal and Depeche Mode’s Delta Machine.
Tour dates
Thursday 17th October – CMJ showcase, Fat Baby, Rivington St, NYC
Friday 18th October – The Planetary/The Great Escape Party @ CMJ, Pianos, Ludlow St, NYC
Saturday 19th October – CMJ Irish Arts Centre Showcase, Red Lion, Bleeker St, NYC
