David Holmes has been announced for a DJ set to launch his new album in Dublin at The Sugar Club on Friday November 24th.

The gig features a David Holmes DJ set and a Q&A before hand with Arveene.

Tickets are €15 for the DJ set from 10pm or €20 for the whole night from 7:30pm.

Buy tickets from The Sugar Club.

Holmes’ new album Blind On A Galloping Horse is set to be released on November 10th on Heavenly Recordings, and “interrogation of the last decade, time spent watching a decaying, fraying Britain visibly buckling in real time while tending to his own battles with mental health.”

“Love songs to leap the barricades to,” is the tagline.

Blind On A Galloping Horse features the voice of Raven Violet, a recent frequent collaborator, and uses analogue drum machines and synths in its sound. Spoken word accounts from Afghan and Ukrainian refugees who now reside in Belfast, a Palestinian ambulance driver, French and Irish observers of the UK’s recent political upheaval also weigh in.
